LOOPS EXPOSED AND JUDGED
The day we walked the dog in the waning woods we decided time was more hallowed than riches.
We resolved never to be owned by the meaningless again.
We would forsake the prestigious window dressing so as to be in no hurry or fluster and we would consol ourselves with second hand paperbacks and beautiful walks like this one.
But indoctrination moves with insidious stealth.
I think I’m entitled to a week of annual leave next summer.
